The Rubettes

The Rubettes
'Sugar Baby Love'
At the start of 2000 Alan Williams the original singer of 70's band The Rubettes reunited with original Rubettes drummer John Richardson and original Rubettes bass player Mick Clarke with the intention to go back out on tour. The audiences were thrilled to see them back and the band loved the experience and with new member Mark Haley on keyboards and guitar the 3 originals continue to perform with great success across Europe to this day.

Since their reformation the 'Rubettes - Featuring Alan Williams' have
been constantly performing throughout Europe and beyond. They have regular
guests appearances on major TV and Radio shows and have appeared at many
prestigious venues throughout the UK and Europe too. The band are also
regulars crowd pleasers at the Butlins festival of the 70's and appear for Warners' centres in the UK, and the band not forgetting their roots they are equally comfortable appearing at your local social club, theatre, sports hall.
Featuring virtually an all original line up, the authentic sound and performance of all the Rubettes major hits can't be bettered and the classic image of white suits, and the legendary white caps, remains as famous as the original guys that wore them when 'Sugar Baby Love' became a worldwide No. 1 smash. With the same familiar faces and
voices of thousands of T.V. and concert appearance the 'Rubettes
featuring Alan Williams' remain an incredibly popular live attraction
