Steve Ellis
voice of love affair
Steve Ellis began singing at the young age of 15 with a band called Soul Survivors gaining experience in the London Northern Soul Circuit. Following a band name change to 'Love Affair' Steve and the lads cut their first record which was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards "She Smiled Sweetly" for Decca records. Love Affair then moved to CBS records and gained their first number one single "Everlasting Love" this was quickly followed by "Rainbow Valley", " Bringing on Back the Good Times", "A Day Without Love" and "One Road." all of which Steve still loves performing today.

In June of 2014 Steve will be honoured in his home town of Brighton with a Star on the Brighton Music Walk of Fame, he will have one of 40 stars that will line the south side of the promenade leading up to Brighton Pier. Not bad for the original mod himself Mr Steve Ellis.
