You Were Made For Me
originally billed as 'Freddie and the Dreamers'.
Freddie Garrity, Roy Crewdson,Derek Quinn,Pete Birrell,Bernie Dwyer. This Manchester based band had hits during the sixties with 'If you gotta make a fool of somebody' - 'Im telling you now' - 'You were made for me' - 'I understand' Their On stage zany synchronised dance routines had the audiences spellbound.
A band line up change saw Pete Ford, Gerry Evans, Bryan Byng, Alan Mosca take their place along side Freddie Garrity as Dreamers, where they took part in the British Invasion Tour Of America, a tour that saw them play prestigious venues such as Madison Square Gardens and the Amphitheatre in Los Angeles alongside other bands from the UK namely The Searchers - The Mindbenders and Gerry and The Pacemakers.
TV appearances then followed for the dreamers appearing on 'time of your life shows across American and Australia and then back home we watched them on Cilla Blacks Surprise Surprise and the Noel Edmonds TV Show.
Freddie Parted company with the Dreamers in the mid 80's (he sadly died in 2006) so the band dropped the 'Freddie' part of the name and became known as 'THE DREAMERS' They also welcomed Ray Martin on Drums to replace Gerry Evans, pete ford retired in 2006 and was replaced by Paul Jackson.

At the Beginning of 2015 the Dreamers had another line up change with Alan&Bryan saying goodbye to Ray Martin&Paul Jackson and welcome to new members Colin&Steve Temple, with Colin and Steve's close harmonies and youth this new line up now takes the band into its next chapter !
